3D Vehicle Model
Nautilus
RANGE OF TASKS:
3D modeling, UV unwrapping, shading, lighting, rendering
SOFTWARE USED:
Maya
For this personal project, I recreated the iconic submarine from the 1872 film '200 Leagues Under the Seas' as a 3D model. The submarine was modeled in Maya using the subdivision surface workflow to ensure clean topology and edgeflow. The model was then manually UV-unwrapped using Maya's UV tools, with an emphasis on minimal distortion or stretching. Finally, the model was textured with a realistic rust material and rendered in Arnold.
